Eveleigh has embraced the original identity of the historic structure it inhabits: an intimate and unpretentious residence on an orchard, built in 1923.  From the unassuming clapboard facade, to the enchanting front garden, through the rustic & reclaimed interior, all the way to the back patio where an herb and vegetable garden surround you & Los Angeles twinkles in the background, guests will feel at home.

The food philosophy at Eveleigh is simple: allow the food to speak for itself.  When possible, we provide all in-house production of the best the area has to offer.  When looking beyond local purveyors, we source ingredients abroad that have conscientious practices and free-range origins.  We are inspired by the freshness of California cuisine, with strong undertones of rustic, southern European traditions.

Market-fresh fruits, herbs & spices; syrups & infusions made in-house; and the finest small-batch, handcrafted spirits are what dominate Eveleigh’s beverage program.  Similarly, singular, small-scale productions which advocate organic or biodynamic principles are prevalent on our wine list.

We hope to encourage the spirit of conviviality by celebrating the fundamental relationships between food, culture, community and agriculture.  We invite you to join us and do the same.
